These commence from Monday 6th July to help you return to exercising after lockdown.
These group treatment sessions are the next step in our re-opening. We have gradually been phasing in clinic-based treatment sessions since the 18th May.
Under this group model, a “1 therapist to 5 patients” balance enables our qualified experts to work with several patients at once. Taking them through their specifically designed, low exertion exercise programme, whilst respecting social distancing guidance regarding healthcare settings.
To maximise the health and wellbeing of our patients attending the group sessions we have implemented the following:
12 Point Exercising after Lockdown Plan:
Deep-clean every morning before opening and again after closing.
Do a re-fresh clean every 2 hours.
All our therapists thoroughly wash their hands (following NHS guidelines) before each session.
We wipe down all our gym equipment with surface disinfectant before and after each session.
We use single-use, disposable paper mat and face-cradle covers.
Where the clinician is likely to come within 2 metres of patient, the clinician will wear a mask. We encourage patients to wear masks, although they may choose not to, provided they are not likely to come closer than 2 metres to either the clinician or other patients. Patients may also request that the clinician wear a mask if that makes them feel more comfortable.
We insist our patients use the Touch Free Hand Sanitisers when they enter the clinic.
Group numbers are strictly limited to no more than 6, i.e. one clinician and 5 patients.
We check each patient’s temperature on arrival at the clinic.
We require all patients to answer and submit a screening questionnaire before attending a session.
Equipment is placed at least 2 metres apart.
Contact details for all patients attending each session are held, in case we ever need to ‘trace’ them.
Re-starting our group sessions is an exciting step. We look forward to delivering first class treatment to our patients. Helping them on their journey to a healthy and active life post lockdown.
